We met Rochelle and Chris when Chris was a groomsman at Jenn and Kyle’s wedding. We love it when a member of the wedding party has so much fun with us that they then want us to be their photographers for their own wedding day. It means so much to us.

Rochelle and Chris had a wonderful church wedding on a beautiful summer day on July 30, 2011. They wanted to have lots of fun on their wedding day so we got a very early start at the salon with the girls and the guys had breakfast at the groom’s parent’s house.

Rochelle had one of our favorite details of the year, a hanger with the word “Bride” on it to hang her dress from. It was really cool and it is awesome when a bride really thinks of every detail, even what her dress will be hanging from for pictures. Also, notice the bright, gorgeous colors for their wedding. It really was a “hot pink” summer wedding!

After the salon the girls came back to the house where Chris was hanging out, so we had a lot of fun keeping Rochelle and Chris apart while we got dressed, as the guys were downstairs and the girls upstairs. Then we did a really sweet first look in the backyard before hopping on a party bus to head to Seattle.

We’ve mentioned it before, but party buses are such a great way to tour around town, especially on a busy summer Seattle day. It really helped out here as we traveled to Seattle from Federal Way and hit up some very popular Seattle locations. And of course being all together on a party bus is always so fun and you can have drinks and snacks along the way! We had a great time with Rochelle, Chris and their wedding party. We went to The Olympic Sculpture Garden and Alki for that awesome Seattle Skyline view. Then we headed back to Federal Way to their church for the ceremony.

The ceremony was beautiful and very heartfelt in their church. Rochelle had both of her parents walk her down the aisle and that is always such a special moment when mom is also included in that part of the day. Their reception was at the Federal Way Community Center and was really fun. They like their desserts and had a chocolate fountain along with their yummy and colorful cupcakes. We ended the evening with a sparkler shot with Rochelle and Chris making a heart with their sparklers.
